Copayment or Deductable
Your copayment (and payment on your insurance deductible) is required at the time of service, in order to comply with legal insurance obligations. If you can not make your copayment, as defined by your insurance plan, we will need to cancel and reschedule your appointment. We accept cash, check, credit card, and debit card payment.
Your most current insurance card is required upon each office visit. Your insurance information must be current at the time of service, or the claim can not be processed by your insurance company. If you do not have a valid insurance card, you must be seen as a 'self pay' patient.
Self pay patients
For self pay (or high deductable coverage) we request payment in full at the time of service. We offer a 20% discounts for patients with no insurance coverage; but the patient must pay in full at the time of the visit. Self pay patients can anticipate paying between $75 and $150 for an office visit, plus the cost of any labs or additional services.
You will be asked to pay in full at the time of your visit if:
- You have no insurance,
- Your insurance member ID can not be verified, or
- Village Family Practice of Holly Springs is not considered an in network provider for your plan.
An outstanding balance
If you have an outstanding balance; we are available to help you set up a payment plan. Unless you make arrangements for payment; accounts with a balance over 90 days past due may be sent to a collections agency. Until this balance is remitted in full, the patient may also be discharged and referred to another practice.
This is not the option we would prefer. Please phone our office to arrange payment to avoid this action.
Charges for lab work are sometimes billed separately. Some labs may be done in the office and may be charged to your bill; but labs sent to an outside lab (such as Solstas) will be billed by the lab directly to your insurance company.
